TWO Senryu Releases Next week! (1/20, 1/22)
That’s right, everyone! Next week, it is all about new.
Wil Wright enters a new decade of life. And you will receive 2 brand new senryu releases, the first of this new decade. Here are the details:
SENRYU ON DAYTROTTER - 1/20
On January 20th, the center day of Wil Wright’s childhood calendar (his birthday) Daytrotter.com is releasing the session that Senryu recorded with them in the fall. If you are unfamiliar with Daytrotter, it is easily one of the greatest and most amazing things happening on the American Music landscape and we were just so honored to get to go. We follow in the footsteps of bands like Wire, of Montreal, Daniel Johnston and so many amazing others. So, ON JANUARY 20TH, GO TO DAYTROTTER.COM AND DOWNLOAD OUR SESSION. IT IS FREE AND EASY AND YOU WILL LOVE IT. We COULD tell you what songs you’re getting, but we’ll keep it a birthday surprise. You should just know that it is 4 songs, and each of them came from a different Senryu album. At least one of them will probably be one of your favorites. You should probably go ahead and go to DAYTROTTER.COM and familiarize yourself with the process, so that next Wednesday, you can roll out of bed, wipe your eyes, and then just grab our 4 songs with the ease of a seasoned veteran.
NEW SENRYU SINGLE - “Obsess Much” FREE DOWNLOAD ON FRIDAY 1/22!!!
Every day, our new album, Inkling, gets closer and closer to your hands. On Friday, Jan 22nd, it takes a huge leap forward. On FRIDAY JAN 22, THE FIRST SINGLE FROM OUR NEW ALBUM BECOMES AVAILABLE TO YOU, FOR FREE, AT SENRYU.BANDCAMP.COM The song is called “Obsess Much” and it is track 7 on Inkling. This free single comes with a b-side song that is NOT featured on the album, just because we like to dominate as much of your ipod as possible are so in love with you. We want you to have everything. We’re going to give you everything, starting with “Obsess Much” our heavy-handed, glitchy, murderous first single. Special cover art for this single was done by Jordan Noel, who is doing all of the art for Inkling. This single is going to go away as we draw near to the release, get it. Otherwise, you will miss out on both the special artwork (that corresponds with the album art) AND the free unrelease b-side. DO NOT CHEAT YOURSELF OUT OF THIS STUFF. IT IS FREE.
